"I've been part of Rapidobject since June 2024 and am completing my apprenticeship here as an e-commerce specialist. My main responsibilities include social media, website content, and digital communications for various departments within the company. My typical workday? Coffee, protein bars, and usually several open tabs at once."

"I joined Rapidobject in 2009—first as an intern, and now as an authorized signatory and Head of Contract Manufacturing Sales. I support our customers from the initial idea all the way to the finished part. In addition to sales, I’m particularly interested in digital topics, AI, and the further development of our 3D printing online store. When I’m not working on 3D printing, I’m usually out and about with my camera, playing sports, or planning my next trip."

Jonas Mehnert

I’ve been part of the team since April 2025. After completing my degree in Engineering Physics, I now work in production, where I primarily oversee the metalworking department. In this role, I manage the entire process—from reviewing and optimizing the models to finishing the final components. By the way, all the little optimizations I make in my daily work help me reach my 10,000 steps between the printer, the computer, and the coffee machine.

“I’ve been with the company since 2013 and help our customers with a wide range of issues related to material selection, the online store, quotes, and orders. I particularly appreciate the direct interaction with customers and the variety of tasks I handle on a daily basis. When I’m not in the office, you’ll often find me in my running shoes—staying active is just part of who I am.”

"The best way to understand how a machine works is to take it apart. Since 2019, I’ve been putting this approach into practice at Rapidobject, driven by my curiosity and enthusiasm for additive manufacturing. Today, as Head of Technology, I’m responsible for our entire machine fleet while also keeping my eye on the future—toward new technologies, machines, and materials. And despite all this responsibility, my motto remains: I always keep one hand on the wrench—so I can keep learning."
